The woman with the photograph (who comes to Malcolm) is Agnes Naismith - though you’ll see her referred to as “Constance DeWinter” in a lot of the show discussions. She’s a character out of the Rebecca side of the story. She’s come to Gallow Green to look for her sister (and you can probably guess who that is).

The man at the mending shop is the town tailor, J. Fulton. He was once described to me as a witch-hunter.
